I’ve always been captivated by opals - their water-born essence, their delicate strength, the way each one is utterly unique. How they catch the light and refract it into endless colors. How pure they feel. They are by far my favorite crystal.
These illustrations are my attempt to capture that magic.
Opals are alive in their shifting, shimmering nature - delicate yet strong, reflective yet mysterious. In these pieces, I tried to translate that sense of wonder: the play of light, the movement of color, the quiet power in stillness.
